As Sacred as I Make it

Anything is only as precious as I allow it to be: this space, this word, this sensation, this moment, this person… Beholding the intricate details that compose it, acknowledgement of it’s peculiar existence, appreciating the chance opportunity to even encounter it…

All the same, anything may be defiled and diminished, starved of attention, details skimmed over, deemed insignificant and left to squander.

The presence of an other being and their interaction will inevitably change it according to their perception of it. Everything is in relation to all else.

It is a choice to allow something to be special, important, significant—to seek the little peculiarities and help cultivate the sustainment of its form or even growth into something more. However I choose to direct the effect I have on forms of existence, or even if ignorant of this power, the responsibility is mine nonetheless.
