Meaning of the past is made in the future

As the sequence of words in a sentence give meaning to the ones that came before, events give meaning to moments that have passed before it. Experiences make purpose of prior experiences. Something in the future gives purpose to everything I've been doing. In the way I may wander into meeting a peculiar person, thus my meandering is suddenly given purpose. 

I tend to seek some significant implication in the tattoos I get--predetermined meaning-- but I got these two tattoos in Korea which were chosen simply because I like the imagery in the style of the artist. I didn't have any hidden meaning for these when I got them. However, I find connections and implications as I experience life, as I contemplate life. I can freely drift between seeing various meanings and meaninglessness. All Symbols essentially work this way, but there's something satisfying about an image being balanced between just simply being amusing to look at for aesthetic pleasure while also providing a canvas for meaning with gentle suggestions.

I love those moments where suddenly sense is made of the past. A lyric given context. A picture adopting emotion. A gesture revealing intention.

I enjoy creating things that leave some room for interpretation and wonder--somewhere between abstract and concrete... It's partially in acknowledgement of how attempts to be so precise and controlling of an expression can often prove more susceptible to misinterpretation: if there is no exact message--no absolute intention, the perceiver is neither right, nor wrong. Rather,
